Real Estate Continuing Education

The South Carolina Real Estate Commission requires licensees to complete 8 hours of continuing education every two years prior to renewing your license. A minimum of 2 hours must be a core course which covers state and federal laws that affect licensees. There is only one core course in South Carolina called “Top Ten ways to be Disciplined” which was written by the SC Real Estate Commission. Up to six hours of continuing education can be electives in which we have several to choose from. Continuing education can also be completed in the classroom or on-line.

These courses are for permanent agents that must fulfill the required 8 hours of continuing education every two years.

 

Online Risk Management (4 hrs)  Elective Credit $60.00

The course is online for your convenience.  With the risk of legal liability an increasingly serious problem for real estate brokers and agents, this course provides the essentials of risk management that every sales professional must know to avoid legal problems and give their clients the best service possible.

 

Online Buyers Representation (4 hrs)  Elective Credit $60.00

The course is online for your convenience.  Discuss changes in real estate relationships over the past 5-10 years and how they benefit the consumer. In-depth treatment of recent agent history, agency laws, buyer agency relationships. Forms of representation that can be offered, as well as, the termination of relationships will be demonstrated through various scenarios. Buyer responsibility in fee payment and various compensation issues are examined.
